El Vez is the persona adopted by LA-based singer/actor/performer Robert Lopez, whose Latino culture take on impersonating The King has won him fans from such fellow artists as Beck, Supergrass and Marilyn Manson. The El Vez live show is a tour-de-force featuring several costume changes by the man, flanked by the lovely Elvettes, and backed by the dangerously schooled Memphis Mariachis. They are one of the hottest live draws on the club circuit in the US, racking up hundreds of gigs and TV performances a year.
