Fragile Human Monster - T02054868235

Holly Penfield premieres her new show Fragile Human Monster at Crazy Coqs. Performing her original repertoire you can expect the unexpected from an artist more recently referred to as "Auntie GaGa" due to her lifelong passion for the surreal and the avant-garde, which is often expressed in her elaborate trademark costumes as well as her self-penned songs. Penfield promises to delight audiences old and new with the same brand of musical theatricality we are used to seeing in her now legendary jazz cabaret shows.

The Saloon Singer - T01207479981

Of all the gin joints in all the world, Holly Penfield has sung in most of them. Her notorious "underground" career spanning over 35 years, has made some people say that she's one of the greatest undiscovered entertainers of this time. From a San Francisco Rock & Roll beginning, to an L.A. Pop Singer-Songwriter 12 year stint, to Europe's most revered Jazz-Cabaret Diva, she has sung for Princes and Lords to Misfits and Hobo's "never" surrendering to defeat. The Saloon Singer is about her journey through the endless maze of show business hard knocks combined with her romantic childhood fantasy dreamed up while watching old movies starring Dietrich, Monroe, Hayworth, Garland,Minnelli, and Peggy Lee "always" starting out, or ending up singing in saloons and nightclubs.... and lets not forget Julie Andrews doing Le Jazz Hot! You'll see her interpret these moments of song cinema with her own passionate devotion while filling the gaps with funny true stories of why her favourite place to sing is still the more intimate environments.Producer Simone Lyons.
