Monique: On the Boulevard Des Hommes archiveOn the Boulevard Des Hommes explores the music of French men: as songwriters, singers, lovers predators or even men just in love with their country. Coming from the South of France, Monique has a passion for the music of Corsica and the rhythms of Africa, which are fused together in a show that combines French and English chanson with cabaret, world and jazz influences. Nougaro, Gainsbourg, Aznavour, Sardou, Trenet and Johnny Halliday and contemporary greats of Corsican song all served up with Monique's own witty lyrics and Provencal charm.
