Their unique brand of sexy and silly showcases fully choreographed group routines and stunning solo performances with fabulous costumes. With themes from Moulin Rouge and War Time Pin Up girls to Great Gatsby and 50's Rockabilly, there is something for everyone! Harking back to the golden era of this fascinating art form, the show's gorgeous and gifted dance troop, The Folly Mixtures, sizzled on stage in their authentic costumes, enticing the audience with a carefully choreographed wink or wiggle. This selection box of showgirls are very excited to bring Burlesque back to Penlee Park again and would love you to join them for a giggle and a wiggle at the show! From stints entertaining the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, a private performance for Her Majesty The Queen, the Olivier Award winning show "C est Barbican" and two series on Channel 4, "Ruby Wax Does The Business on the BBC" and a Channel 4 pilot at the request of Janet Street-Porter. GINGER AND BLACK "A true delicacy of the musical comedy circuit" - The Stage - Ginger and Black s unique brand of dry humour has landed them features on Radio 1 s The Annie Mac Show, Radio 2 s Out To Lunch, Radio 4 s Loose Ends, Paramount s The World Stands Up, and BBC Three s Comedy Shuffle. E4 commissioned them to write and star in their own short film and last year the pair supported Simon Amstell on his UK tour.
