A piece of new writing about Martha, a Michael Jackson obsessive, his music and persona providing her with a refuge from a difficult home life. Martin, the local ruffian, has loved Martha since primary school. Her half-sister, Colleen, wants some attention, and love, of her own and sets out to become the Next Big Thing. In her quest she meets bus driver, Barry who has moved North to escape his own history.
