Codebreakers - The Story of Enigma

T101327791
One of the Second World War's most fascinating stories is that of the Allied codebreakers, who deciphered a vast number of German secret messages by decrypting their ingenious ciphering machine, the Enigma. From the decrypts the Allies gained valuable information on troop and aircraft disposition, military intentions..shortening the war by about two years. This evening Dr Mark Baldwin will take you on a historical journey about the Enigma machine, the code-breaking work at Bletchley Park and U-Boats, together with a unique collection of slides which illustrate the main features of these important facets of the Second World War.
