Production details

This evening of alternative folk music features a special performance by Robin and Bina Williamson. The duo lend their beautiful East-West harmonies to a selection of original and traditional pieces from Celtic, Indian and English roots, featuring harp and bowed-psaltery. Bragod’s medieval music features the striking vocals of Mary-Anne Roberts alongside the buzzing tone of Robert Evans crwth (archaic Welsh stringed instrument). Cardiff-based duo Zeuk deliver smouldering gothic folk while The Semantics tell poetic stories of nature, people and journeys flowing over affecting melodies. This enticing musical bill is completed by special guest Mark Fry, whose 1972 cult classic album . He will be joined by Swedish sitar maestro Emil Brynge. The short films of two of the best animation artist will be projected during the evening.
