An hilarious story about a penniless old soldier who, returning from the war, seeks help from his miserly old brother. All the old miser will offer is a field of stones and old, rotten turnip seed. The poor old soldier is all alone - however will he manage? After dealing with many hardships, the old soldier grows the most enormous turnip ever seen!
