A huge hit at the South Bank in 2001 with it's dynamic fusion of circus, theatre, dance and music, The Junebug Symphony is not to be missed. Director, designer and central character, James Thierree, an ex-member of Cirque Imaginaire from the age of two (with his parents Victoria Chaplin and John Baptiste Thierree) exudes talent, as you would expect from the grandson of Charlie Chaplin and great grandson of Eugene O'Neill. The work is packed with crazy transformations using all the essential elements of circus - fantastical beasts, slapstick gags, roller-skating musicians, acrobats and trapeze artists. James Thierree is drawn to the creative possibilities of chaos the result is a spellbinding show that has captivated audiences all over the world.
