You Mistook Me For An Angel - T1105032771

It is easy to mistake Annika Brown for an angel, because, as she is taking to the sky with her first ever Fringe show at the Mad Hatter in Brighton on the 24th of May, she is bound to entice you with her blend of original songs. But don’t be fooled – she might have the voice of an angel, but she’s not afraid to go to some dark places. With a background in literature it is no surprise that Annika’s lyrics are well crafted, and in many cases fictional characters or lines from a play or novel have been the inspiration. "I’ve always loved music, "she says," and I’ve always loved literature, so it just seemed natural to combine the two. I’ve tried it without the music for a while, and it always felt like there was something vital missing."
