Extractor was formed in 1998 By Andrew Deakin, Martin Robinson, Vicki Spong and Catherine Bassett as a vehicle for their interest in various aspects of sonic intervention and live performance. Extractor combine DJ sets, interactive performances and audience contribution. Custom built hardware and software systems enable real time synthesis and processing using unique gestural interfaces and instruments.
