Joe O'Donnell is a fiery and innovative Irish violinist and composer living in Coventry. He has worked with many bands including East of Eden, Thin Lizzie, The Woods Band and Headstone. In 1977 his first album Gaodhal's Vision was released to critical acclaim and commercial success. It featured top musicians of the day including guitar superstar Rory Gallagher. Gaodhal's Vision tells the story of the Milesian people leaving Egypt and setting out for the island, foretold to them by Moses, called Eire. It will be performed live by some of the original players on the album and members of Joe's band Shkayla, with back-projection imaging, storyline, and Indian, Egyptian and Irish dancers
