Meier is a classically trained guitarist, studying under Francis Coletta at the Conservatoire Fribourg, and subsequently studying Jazz at the world famous Berklee College. He has a formidable reputation for his work with his own group touring here and throughout Europe with the likes of Elvin Jones, Brad Meldau and Trilok Gurtu.
