Lenine is one of the great voices of Brazil. He first achieved recognition in his homeland in the nineties with his ground-breaking mix of acoustic guitar and percussion and state-of-the-art electronic technology combining the maracatu sounds of Pernambuco with an open-ness to the wider musical world. Hailed by Caetano Veloso as a successor, carrying the great Brazilian song-writing flame, this is his first show in London in five years.
