A close-harmony, eclectic, semi-acoustic piano-led wonder, Mumbo-Jumbo plays rootsy original and rarely heard stuff in their own inimitable style. The band's CD Life of Riley launched in January 2012 is getting rave reviews for its musicianship and its songwriting, plenty of radio airplay and has gained the band a nomination in the British Blues Awards 2012 for Best Original Song/Songwriter.
