New music by John Michael Geddes and young composers from all around Scotland, inspired by landscapes, seascapes and starscapes. New Vistas is a unique music project devised and run by John Michael Geddes, one of Scotland's leading composers in association with Paragon Ensemble. John has been working with twenty young aspiring composers. Learning the craft of writing notated music has been a voyage of discovery for the young people and has given each the rare chance to develop his or her own individual musical voice. The opportunity to have their pieces performed by Paragon will raise the profile of these talented young people who are now about to emerge on Scotland's new music scene.
