T01793104809With a blues background, Skip McDonald nevertheless found himself in the house band for both pioneering hip-hop label Sugar Hill Records and Adrian Sherwood’s On-U Sound, before forming the band Tackhead. When that band broke up, he eventually formed Little Axe and has developed his brand of dub/blues/gospel ever since, now signed to Peter Gabriel’s Real World label. | |
