More than a quarter of a century since the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem were last heard singing together, their memory as Ireland's greatest musical export including The Holy Ground, I'll tell me Ma!, and The Irish Rover lives on. Narrated by RTE's Cathal MacCabe the music is provided by the The Kilkennys, Ireland's most exciting young folk and ballad group. Growing up just 25 miles from the Clancy's hometown of Carrick-on-Suir, they were raised in the same musical tradition and perform the great Clancy songs with excitement and authenticity.Performer Cathal MacCabe.
