Four innovative new dance pieces, combining heatricality and technical skill, performed by some of the UK’s finest dancers. After a season in the West End and a European tour with Matthew Bourne’s sell-out male production of Swan Lake these two dancer / choreographers each present two dances set to diverse music by some of the world’s leading classical and contemporary composers. The programme includes Tim Blowfield’s Unfolding Layers (which sold out at the Mercury in 2007) and Marney’s Rain Check - a duet exploring the lives of a couple defending their individualities and battling for each of their voices to be heard. "With exquisite music by Yann Tiersen, who wrote the score for the French film Amelie, it was not only a joy to watch but a joy to listen to." East Anglian Daily Times on Unfolding LayersPerformer Tim Blowfield. Performer Christopher Marney.
