Katrina Brown & Rosanna Irvine: what remains and is to come. Intimate and quietly compelling, the performance invites audiences into the up closeness of increasing relations between paper, charcoal, bodies and breath. Inspired by the question of how to treat materials as equals and not as tools for our desires, the performers' bodies exist as both human and material presences. Time slows as audience moves feely through the space - witness to a visceral accumulation of haunting images evoking the enduringness of human work, of living, and of dying.. Mette Edvardsen: Black Black is a solo performance about making things appear. The space is empty. There are no things. Through spoken words and movements in space a world will become visible, where the performer is the mediator between the audience and what is there. It is a play in time and space where only the body is physically present, performing actions and handling invisible objects, constantly trying to bridge the invincible gap between thought and experience, between here and there.
