A Russian-German co-production, Hopeless Games is a surreal and unpredictable journey through a world of vibrant midnight tangos, wonderful slapstick comedy and ethereal ghost sonatas where the dancers may be clown phantoms or fallen angels. The dancers re-animate a derelict rain station haunted by the ghosts of vagrants, tramps and thieves and play a game that has deadly consequences for them all.
