Luke Jeffery

Audiences will have the chance to get up close and personal as they watch the play from the back of a parked car. The humorous absurdist play has been written as part of The Winter Warmed festival: three weeks of performances, workshops, films, presentations and discussions celebrating the unique theatre of Samuel Beckett, through the talents of local and regional theatre-makers. Luke's play was inspired by Beckett's one-man play, Krapp's Last Tape and is about a compulsive tea drinker who finds solace in half-remembered conversations and old routines. As the world grows colder memories begin to fade and he quickly finds himself trapped in a labyrinth of his own making.
