From Blackwood Valley in Western Australia, Emily is a star of the future. A terrific songwriter, she performs her folky/rootsy songs with passion and warmth. Her voice obviously struck a chord with the late John Peel who played her songs numerous times on his show. Backed by the acoustic sounds of her musicians The Red Clay Halo, Emily's effortlessly incredible voice performs material from her debut solo album Photos Fires Fables.
