In Orpheus' Mum, a little boy puts giant spiders in the washing basket, once even sticks a stone up the cat's bottom and generally drives his parents to despair. But Orpheus' music and pipes have very special magical powers. The second story tells of Savitri, a little girl who may be scared by Yama, the god of death, but is prepared to follow him over continents and through dangers to get her best friend back.
