The Heath Quartet was formed in 2002 at the RNCM under Dr Christopher Rowland. Selected by YCAT in 2008, they won first prize and the Audience Prize at the Tromp International Competition in Eindhoven and second prize at the Haydn International Competition in Vienna.

We are delighted to bring back The Heath Quartet, as their reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting and innovative young ensembles has grown steadily since their formation in 2002. As a group they believe in presenting unfamiliar works to new audiences, and their flair for communication brings new energy to established masterpieces.
