Freedom Sings

T0993238134
With the blessing of Coretta Scott-King for its sensitive portrayal of her late husband's life and spiritual experience, this musical drama charts the struggle for freedom and equality of Martin Luther King and the black community in America. As well as King's journey from little boy to great orator and protester, the play also spans Black American history from slavery in the mid 18th century, through Ku Klux Klan attacks, to the Black Civil Rights Movement of the 50s and 60s.
