Liverpool's third Writing on the Wall Festival takes the theme of Commonwealth to explore the original meaning of the word and place it in a modern day context and contrast it with the official (mis)interpretations. Writers from all around the world are being invited to take part in a week of workshops, discussions, forums, readings and involvement with local communities.
