Jan Meek has crossed the Atlantic in a rowing boat braving sharks, whales and high water to bring this highly entertaining story to you. At the age of 53, she and her son Dan spent 101 nights on the water and Jan is a Guiness Book of World Record Holder as the oldest person ever to achieve the crossing in a rowing boat. Jan's talk is witty, enchanting and dynamic and has been heard by audiences all over the world. She is now the proprietor of the 'Old Ducks Wine Bar' in Carshalton and has agreed to give the speech, free of charge in aid of Sutton Mencap.
