Production details
Acton's first Dance Festival celebrating dance talent and diversity in West London. Performances promise a dance trip around the world courtesy of dances from Russia, Armenia, Spain, Africa, the Caribbean and beyond. Dance Styles include Jive and Lindy Hop, Gypsy and Russian Character Dance, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and more. National Character Dance Company is hosting the first Acton Dance Festival - a lively mix of professional companies, weekly groups and school pupils who live or meet in Acton. Saturday's show includes performances by Dance Carib, Serena Francis Group, Twyford High School & National Character Dance Company. Saturday free taster classes 5pm Afro/Caribbean 6pm Gypsy Dance. Sunday's show includes performances by the Jiving Lindy Hoppers, Armenian Dance Theatre, Volga Russian Dancers, Theatre Arts West London, Acton High School and National Character Dance Company.
