'filled with a timeless teenage spirit that refuses to die' NME Soul Jazz Records presents a rare UK appearance by the legendary South Bronx group ESG. Playing for 20 years, the Scroggin sisters, now augmented by two of their daughters, were an original Factory Records signing before becoming adopted by the NYC underground dance scene. Their percussion led funk has influenced generations, and their records have become the most sampled in the history of hip hop.
