Production details

Jacksons Lane is proud to partner with Dutch producers TENT and UK producers Split Second on the first showcase of new circus from Holland. Four companies come together over one week with UK premieres of daring, innovative work including immersive performance in our grand Studio 1 and ground-breaking performance in our theatre. See it all! Monki & Hendrik van Maele 60% Banana & Ways of being ready (Double bill) Thursday 5 October at 7:30pm All tickets £15 A double bill of contradictions. First an acrobatic presentation, complete with graphs, about the state of the world in 60% Banana, followed by a mime and acrobat duo, life-long friends who are polar opposites but joined in their need to be ready for anything. Michael Zandl/David Eisele/Kolja Huneck Sawdust Symphony Saturday 7 October at 7:30pm All tickets £16 Craftsmanship meets circus in a spellbinding exploration of the human desire to create. On a custom-built stage, obsessed characters discover and transform their space and themselves as they take the audience into a unique DIY experience. Silly, surreal and completely captivating. Benjamin Kuitenbrouwer & Hanneke Meijers 360 Sunday 8 October at 11am, 1pm & 3pm All tickets £12 In this capricious game between two acrobats, nothing is fixed. Feel welcome to take a seat on one of the rolling stools and be an actor in this moving composition. The performance invites to make contact, to touch, to be part of and to influence. Or none of this, you can stay invisible in the group.
