Ingrid

Being old, they are trying to understand the present world. Being different, they are trying to arrive to a new place. Being alone, they are trying to cook... Already for a long time now, and with no success.
Ingrid is a theatre piece of absurd, of physical comedy & poetic stillness. In the isolation of their flat and through the triviality of cooking and cleaning, we discover their madness, dreams & story... Theatrically it twins many genres. Grotesque ?body mask', clown, mime, puppetry, live music & dance, as well as impressive transformations between contrasts of age, size & personality. This makes it a true visual theatre, understood by all nationalities and appreciated by all generations. Thematically it addresses immigration, solitude, love and a vision of finding happiness within yourself. Is happiness a goal? Or a choice?
