Something Big - Hurdy Gurdy/Open Spaces/New Work

Miro Dance Theatre from Philadelphia, USA, presents the UK premiere of Hurdy Gurdy, a subtle blend of classical technique, contemporary choreography and multi-media technology evoking the life, loves and creative thinking of composer Gustav Mahler. Jessica Lang, Amanda Miller and Johannes Wieland provide the choreography for five dancers against Tobin Rothlein's painterly video projections. Snag’s Joanne Fong brings animation, video, music and dialogue to her new solo work Open Spaces, a journey exploring the human condition. Dancer, choreographer and visual artist Annie pui ling Lok partners Laliteraja in the world premiere of Lok’s new work. Annie has recently completed a research period at The Place Theatre's Choreodrome. Summer Collection. Clore Studio
