UK Premiere. For Tabac Rouge Thierree shifts his movement language to dance whilst retaining traces of his origins in contemporary circus and his unmistakeable theatrical inventiveness. The imposing sets create a dark and ominous environment; a massive panel of tangled tubes and mirrors flips and turns centre stage. Moving incessantly across the staging as it re-shapes, the dancers execute random steps in space. Tabac Rouge is a fascinating world in which mystery, mirrors, music and movement combine to catapault you into the unfathomable logic of dreams. Thierree marks his return to London after an absence of four years, with a vibrant tribute to dance and theatre.
