Rural England, 1349. The plague has begun to get a grip. By the end of 1351, two million people will have died. On the death of his lover, a man carries her body into a wood to lay her to rest. As he digs her grave, he purges his heart and soul of the layered memories that live within him.
Dig is a single-person drama, an elegiac farewell to a person deeply loved midst uncontrollable and inexplicable events.
