The ISTD's South Asian Dance Faculty celebrates its 10th anniversary by putting on a gala dance event, called Misrana, at the Southbank Centre. The gala promises to be a breathtaking display of British South Asian Dance at its very best.
Misrana will be a rare opportunity to see SHRISHTI - Nina Rajarani Dance Creations’ award winning piece ‘QUICK!’ the winner of the Place Prize 2006 sponsored by Bloomberg and Akademi’s highly acclaimed Kathak dance piece ‘Ekatra’, choreographed by the legendary guru Kumudini Lakhia. The evening will showcase future talents of South Asian dance who have excelled in their ISTD dance examinations.
