A family move into a new house, but unfortunately the garden is in a state of disrepair and overgrown. Once the garden has been tidied up the children, Holly and Henry, with the help of their mother plant seven bulbs of differing varieties. It is then springtime and the bulbs have developed and shot up into wonderful flowers. These flowers come to life when no human is around.
