A double bill to bring Made in Berlin to a close. French choreographer Xavier Le Roy's 'Giszelle' surfs two thousand years of cultural icons in a dazzling montage of quick shots masterfully performed by Eszter Salamon. Two Fish's piece, choreographed by Angela Schubot and Martin Clausen, was conceived using the three-room flat of it's title's address as a sixth member of the company: the piece was performed there before being recreated on a bare stage. Part of MADE IN BERLIN, a season at The Place and BITE: 03 at the Barbican, celebrating the diverse but distinctive contemporary work currently being produced by Berlin’s vibrant community of dance artists.
