Tells the story of Pip a poor orphaned blacksmith's apprentice whose life is changed when he is visited by a London lawyer with the news that a mysterious benefactor wants him to give up his apprenticeship and live as a proper gentlemen with all expenses paid. Along his adventurous road to becoming a gentleman, Pip finds love, adventure, revenge and heartbreak, only to discover that so much of what he desired and hoped for in his new life is not all that it seems.
