CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020, work is underway to re-open safely. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.

Out of this World archiveBased on Plautus' Amphitryon c. 186 BC. 1950s Hollywood collides with Ancient Greece. Jupiter, the old rogue, has fallen in love with Helen Vance, the movie star. Sure, she's on her honeymoon, but what could stand in the way of a god who can turn himself into anyone and anything at will? Well, his wife Juno for a start. She's had just about enough of Jupiter's roving, and all the ingenuity of their divine offspring may not be able to protect Daddy from her wrath. Where on earth can a god hide from another god?

Music Cole Porter. Lyrics Cole Porter. Book by Dwight Taylor. Book by Reginald Lawrence. Other Greg MacKellan (revision). Other Howard Ashman (additional material). Other Jeremy Sams (additional material).
