As leader of the Liberal Party for 12 years and a vital force in the formation of the SDP Lord Steel has enjoyed a career at the centre of British politics which spans over 40 years. In May 2003 he stepped down as Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament. He talks about the highs and lows of his career as well as providing a fascinating insight into the workings of British politics. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to pose their own questions to this distinguished figure of British politics.
