The Kaos Importance of Being Earnest

T310720991
The Kaos Importance of Being Earnest is a fast-paced blend of physical theatre, clowning and ensemble playing, rich in high jinks, slapstick, underscored with some exquisite a capella renditions of Mozart and Handel, under-pinned with a smooth hipster soundtrack and rich with foppish wit. Algernon and Jack are two nice-but-dim socialites, Cicily is a spoilt-brat Spice Girl, Gwendolen a fearsome man-eater, the Rev. Chasuble and Miss Prism quiver with sexual repression, and Lady Bracknell flies like the Wicked Witch of the West. This is a radical interpretation of Wilde's classic play as only Kaos can - a seething satire of modern British tapped full of tea and hypocrisy.
Author Oscar Wilde
