Telemaco chronicles the pronouncement of an oracle; unrequited desire; crossed, and ultimately reunited lovers; witchcraft and the vengeance of a woman scorned. Telemaco was originally presented as part of the wedding celebrations for Emperor Joseph in Vienna in 1765.
