5 People. 5 Lives. 5 Stories. Will YOU be the one that listens? We all face, at some stage in our lives, the effects of a mental health illness. It can be daunting. It can be scary. It can be lonely. In our current climate, we have experienced unprecedented times and we all have our own stories. 1 in 5 people will experience a mental health illness in their lives and 1 in 10 will take their own life because of loneliness, isolation and the fear of being rejected. This cabaret performance highlights some of the issues we face in society. It asks you to listen and to Open Up; it also tells you that 'It's Okay to NOT be Okay'. Join us on the journey of 5 unique people as they Open Up their lives and ask YOU, simply; to listen to them.
