Beautiful writing, touching performances & gorgeous live improvised music! Inspired by silent film & live music, the salon:orchestra is a platform for musicians to collaborate and experiment with other art forms. the salon:orchestra will be inviting 10 new writers to create an original monologue for the performers appearing alongside the musicians. The pieces will go from one writer to another, each writer will echo the theme or element from the piece before. We have some awesome writers lined up, Clara Brennan, Sarah Grochala, Dan Thurman, Archie Kimpton, Donella Fox & Sarah Rutherford (more to come!) so expect some beautiful writing, touching performances & gorgeous live improvised music!
