Beatrix archiveAdapted from the writings of Beatrix Potter. Artist, storyteller and countrywoman, Beatrix Potter first became known as the author of the cherished children's book The Tale of Peter Rabbit but that was just the beginning. Even after her marriage, nature and art remained the two great loves of her life, inspiring her to write a total of 23 books, become an accomplished Lakeland farmer and campaign tirelessly on conservation issues for the National Trust.
