Burning archiveBonfire Night 2001. Tony and Barbara Lewton are your typical middle-class suburban couple: a nice house in Berry Hill; membership of the local golf club and evenings out at Rotary functions. However, as Barbara reaches the big 4-0 and friends and family gather together for a surprise bonfire birthday party, a chain of events begins to unfold that involves a wayward private detective, a golfing gigolo and James Bond! With special effects, video footage and a Jimi Hendrix soundtrack, Burning takes you behind the UPVC double glazed windows of suburbia to reveal a dark and funny reality.
