Clown, Clown and Pigeon: The Lamentable Comed-Ilogy archive'Clown, Clown and Pigeon' proudly present, for your viewing pleasure, their biggest (second) production to date! THE TRAGIC COMED-ILOGY sees them tackle three stories from Ovid's metamorphoses, with the promise that they will try not to burn the theatre down in the process... again. Quince is determined to put on a show, Bottom is determined to act, and Snug is determined to have a nap. Together, they will create before your very eyes, three fantastical and lamentable tales of love and loss (Pyramus and Thisbe), of violence (The Fall of Troy) and one of betrayal (Julius Caesar). Greek tragedy has never tasted so sweet. There will be romance, there will be gore, there will be tears and laughter but there will be NO PIGEONS! Inspired by characters from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and drawing on traditional clowning and Commedia Dell'Arte. This production is a laugh out loud comedy with a lot of heart, pure nonsensical silliness and joy.
