Daisy Miller archiveSet in 1880 in Switzerland, a young American writer, Winterbourne, is immediately drawn to the beautiful and flighty Daisy Miller, although her youthful high spirits and American frankness clash with continental etiquette. As he pursues her to Rome, the naive yet outspoken Daisy draws criticism from the social-set but Winterbourne continues to defend the girl. Does he love the headstrong Daisy or is it her tainted innocence that captivates him? As the tale unfolds, Winterbourne is confronted with a tragedy that will haunt him forever... she did as she pleased.
