Dead Reckonings is a comedy about debt and persecution. Jamie is idealistic, and an artist. So he's brought most of his problems on himself. He leaves college with debts. He tries to pay them off with one stroke, and only incurs more. Holed up in his bedsit to escape his debtors, he is visited by everyone he is trying to avoid.
